In this tal we will present recent results about the characterisation of eigenvalues of one-dimensional subshifts of finite topological rank. This class of systems is the natural one when one wants to extend results coming from substitutions or linearly recurrent systems. This world consider the study of new types of aperiodic one-dimensional quasicrystals arising from uniformly bounded renormalisations.
